Iconic Wrestler John Cena to Retire from WWE in 2025

John Cena, famous for his career in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), also known as 'Catch,' announced that he will retire from professional wrestling in 2025.


The American star shared this news during the Money in the Bank event held in Toronto, Canada. He stated that he will use his matches in 2025 to bid farewell to his fans.


He said, "I am announcing my retirement from WWE. I deeply thank the fans who allowed me to perform in their built-up arenas for so long."


John Cena is considered one of the greatest wrestlers in WWE history, having been the world champion 16 times since he started his professional career in 2001.


Apart from wrestling, Cena has also become a successful actor, appearing in popular movies such as Suicide Squad, Fast & Furious 9, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
