Rwanda Hosts First Level Training for Swimming Referees

From Monday to Friday, the Greenwich Hotel in Rwanda will host a special training session for swimming referees. This first-level training will be given to 32 referees who will take part in the Rwandan Swimming Games.



The training will be led by Zeff Ekumbo Jangi, an international swimming referee from Kenya. His goal is to increase the knowledge and skills of the referees, helping them to manage and conduct various swimming competitions both in Rwanda and internationally.



This event, organized by Rwanda Swimming, aims to prepare the referees for future national and continental swimming championships. The theme of the training is "Increasing knowledge and skills to our technical officials for managing and conducting different national swimming competitions even continental swimming championships."


By the end of the week, these 32 acting officials will be better equipped to handle the challenges of refereeing in major swimming events, ensuring fair and efficient competitions.
